Due to hidden formatting in some Excel spreadsheets, the ARI Recruiting import tool will occasionally reject an import of recruits, athletes, contacts.
In the event a spreadsheet import is rejected, ARI Recruiting suggests trying the following troubleshooting steps to 'clean up the file' . . .
The first recommended step would be to re-save your Excel file as a .csv file.
The next step would be to open the new .csv file and retype a cell of text into one of the currently occupied cells (for example, if your first column is 'First Name' delete that text and retype, 'First Name'). Once you've completed this step, save your file once again (as a .csv) and attempt your import into the ARI Recruiting platform.
