About the Swimcloud/ARI Integration

The Swimcloud/ARI integration allows you to add new athletes to ARI directly from Swimcloud and update swim stats for existing athletes as needed. Follow the instructions below to connect Swimcloud to ARI.

What stats come into ARI?

The best time for each distance and course combination is brought into ARI. All other times live in and will remain in Swimcloud. The Swimcloud stats are marked with a Source of Swimcloud in ARI and cannot be manually updated.

What happens if an athlete is not in ARI?

When you export a swimmer from Swimcloud using the ARI option, the new athlete is created in ARI. Select bio/demographic information is populated for the new athlete and the available stats are written to the record in ARI.

What happens if an athlete is already in ARI?

The integration does not update fields that are already populated in ARI, so only fields that are blank in ARI will update. Stats are updated and added for existing athletes.

Swimcloud/ARI Integration Configuration Instructions:

  1. In ARI, Select your Settings (Gear) and select API Key Management
