The ARI Outlook Add-in/App works in both web-based applications and desktop applications.
Depending on your version of Outlook, you will install it either through the add-ins portal or the apps portal.
Installation Via Add-Ins (Web-based)
1a. Select Get Add-Ins (+ sign) from the Outlook Home Bar
Installation Via Apps (Web-based)
1b. If you don't see the Get Add-Ins (+ sign), from try opening an email and clicking the button marked below in the tool bar of that email, and then click "Add Apps".
2. Search ARI and Add the ARI add-in
3. Select an email and open the ARI add-in (you may need to use the three-dot icon or apps icon on the email’s menu bar)
4. Click the ARI Icon in either the add-ins or apps area (icon image below)
5. Select Get Started
Installation (Desktop Application)
1. Select Get Add-Ins from the Outlook Home Bar
2. Search ARI and Add the ARI add-in
3. Select an email and open the ARI add-in
4. Select Get Started
Completing Install (Both Versions)
1. After selecting Get Started, you will be given a text field to input a token
2. Open your settings page within your ARI account and select API Key Management
3. Select New Key and click on the three-dot button on the new key that was created and select Generate Token
4. Select Email Plugin and press generate, copy the new token and return to your email platform
5. Paste the new token into the Token Field and press Save
