ARI Athletics Release Notes - Sprint 69 (March 2024)

🚀 March 2024 Release 🚀

We think you'll love the new features in this release, so definitely give them all a thorough read below and try them out to see how they can enhance your recruiting!

At ARI Athletics, we highly appreciate your feedback as it allows us to enhance our platform. We record all feature requests for future development consideration, and we are dedicated to promptly resolving any bugs that may arise. Periodically, we publish release notes from our latest development sprint release, highlighting the newest features, enhancements and bug fixes. Below, you'll find some of the items that were released in our most recent sprint. 🏫 Do More with Organizations!

  • From the Recruit tab in an Organization (High School, College or other Organization), click on View in Grid to see the list of Recruits associated with that Organization in the Grid.

  • Set a rule in a high school to assign Responsible Coach automatically to any recruit associated to that high school. This can also be done for a group of high schools by using filters (e.g. assign all high schools in a state to a specific Responsible Coach).

  • New high schools added to Organizations from an updated list received from The College Board.

🗂️ Recruit Grid Enhancements

  • Sort by High School Name in the Grid

  • ✏️ Check out the new pencil button at the top right of your Groups list. Click on the Pencil to:

    • Create “folders” for your Groups called Categories. This will be especially helpful for coaches who have lots of Groups. Categories can be opened to display all the Groups In the Category, or closed to make your Group list cleaner.

    • Drag and Drop to arrange your Groups.

  • New options when you click on the 3 dots next to the name of a Group to:

    • Transfer ownership of a group to another coach on your staff.

    • Set a default Group to always be the list of Recruits you see when you login to ARI and go to the Grid.

👬Duplicate Merging Upgrades

  • Created Date now displays on potential duplicate records so you know which record was created first.

  • For Slate integration schools, merging duplicates will now trigger the record to be sent to Slate to make sure the correct ARI ID is in Slate. (Quick tip here, if there are 2 different Slate IDs on the potential duplicate, ask Admissions which Slate ID to keep before merging).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star Rating is now a field when you export a list of records from ARI.

ℹ️ Update your personal info

  • In your ARI account, click on the circle in the bottom left of the page with your initials or picture in it to update your personal info (e.g. Job Title, Mobile Phone, etc.). This will make it easier for the ARI Support Team to know who you are and get in contact with you when needed.

📋Athletic Forms Updates

  • 🪲 Bug fix: If you sort the Roster list by Last Name, it will secondarily sort by First Name.

  • If an athlete is on the email bounce list, updating the athlete’s email will remove them from the bounce list.

  • New Phone Number field option that can be added to forms.

  • New Preview button so you can see a form like a student-athlete will see it.

  • New ability to delete a form that has not yet received any submissions.

  • New button to activate multiple forms together.

  • If an athlete was merged incorrectly, you can now unmerge them in the Settings Gear area.

  • Syncing now allows you to choose to “Sync New” or “Sync Updates” and to choose which teams and data to sync.

  • Team Name will now be a field in the Roster Export when reporting.

👩‍💻 Enhancements to help the ARI Support Team better serve our clients

  • New file upload tool to securely collect data from coaches.

  • Universal questionnaire set up area in Admin for Slate schools to set default fields for each team's questionnaire.

  • Button to push branding (logo and colors) to all teams in a department.
