Instructions to Configure Single Sign-On (SSO)

This article walks through setting up ARI SSO through SAML configuration

Overview

Currently, ARI provides SSO through the SAML standard. Once SSO is configured, it will apply for all ARI users at your institution. ARI roles are enforced after successful authentication.

To configure SSO, please see the configurations below.

ARI SAML Properties

Below are the ARI SAML properties that you need to complete the SAML configuration on your side.

  1. Claims to set up

    1. nameidentifier (email address)

    2. givenname

    3. surname

Metadata URL

Once the basic configuration is set-up, please provide ARI the metadata URL to your institution’s IDP. From this link, we will gather all the information needed to complete the configuration on your side. Please email the URL to support@arirecruiting.com. Through this email, we can communicate with you about the set-up.

Next Steps

Once both sides have completed the set-up, our Customer Success (CS) team will be in touch with an ARI user to test the configuration. After testing is complete and if applicable for your institution, ARI will provide a list of the team members that need to be added to your institution’s IDP for ARI access.
