Sending Activities/Interactions from ARI to Slate

Step 1: Download and Import the Excel file below containing ARI Interactions Codes into your Slate instance using the Interaction and Activity Import Source Format available in the Slate Source Format Library.

(You may edit this file as you see fit if you'd like to name the Interactions differently or make other changes)

Step 2: Create a new Source Format in your Slate instance and configure it as follows:

  • Fill in the fields in the General tab as in the screenshot below:

  • Paste the following XML into the Format Definition tab and then click Save:

Step 3: Follow the steps below to send the Web Services URL to ARI for your new Source Format

  • Click on the Web Services View link:

  • Copy the URL
    ​

  • Send the URL above in an email to support@arirecruiting.com indicating that you are sending it to set up the sending of Interactions/Activities from ARI to Slate.

Step 4: Wait for ARI to let you know they have sent the first Activity/Interaction from ARI to your Slate instance. You can then Remap the Source Format as follows:

  • Set your Field Mappings as shown in the screenshot below:

  • Click on Prompt Value Mappings and click on the Interaction Interaction: Code row:

  • Click on Append Values:

  • Paste in the following list of values and click the Append button:

  • Map the Interaction Codes as follows and then click on the Save button:

  • Click on Retroactive Refresh, select all of the checkboxes, and then click the Retroactive Refresh button:

  • Type in REFRESH and click the OK button:

  • Open your ARI Interactions Source Format and click on the imported file:

  • Click on one of the records that was imported and confirm that the interaction wrote the record as you expected (see the 2 screenshots below):
