Import Sport Interest Translation Values into your Slate instance

Note: These instructions are only necessary for institutions who are utilizing the Sport Interest field for one or more ARI sport accounts. The ARI Support team will let you know if this applies to you.

Step 1: Activate the Translation Code Import Source Format in the Slate Source Format Library. (If you have already activated this Source Format, skip to Step 2)

  • Go to Database>Source Format Library

  • Find Translation Code Import in the list

  • Click on the blue Add link to add the Translation Code Import Source Format

  • Click on the Add button

  • Click on OK when asked "Are you sure you would like to add this source format from the library?"

Step 2: Import the Translation Codes Excel file that was sent to you by the ARI Support team using the Translation Code Import Source Format from Step 1.

  • Make sure you have saved the Translation Codes Excel file sent to you by the ARI Support team to a location on your computer so you can upload it to Slate.

  • Go to Database>Source Formats

  • Click on Translation Code Import in the list of available Source Formats

  • Click on the Upload File(s) button on the right side of the screen

  • Click on the + Add Files button

  • Choose the Translation Code Excel file sent to you by the ARI Support team.

  • Click on the Upload button

  • Go to Database and click on Force Process Import

  • After the Force Process Import runs, click the back button in your browser

  • Go to Database>Translation Codes

  • Confirm that your Key of arisportinterest was added with the count that matches the number of rows in the file you uploaded

  • Click on the arisportinterest Key and review the list of translation codes to make sure it matches those in the file you uploaded
