Q: I attempted to make a deposit into an inmate account and I
     did not receive a confirmation number. How do I know if it
     was successful?
A:  Please go to www.ar.gov/payment  and enter the requested
      information. If the payment was successful it will give you
      your confirmation number.

Q: I am having a problem with my payment
A: The following rules may be the cause of the payment issue:

  • The online Inmate Banking application does not allow prepaid credit cards.

  • The minimum deposit amount is $10.00 for inmate trust account

  • The minimum deposit amount is $25.00 for a Pre-Pay phone account

  • You cannot make a trust deposit and a phone deposit in the same transaction- you will need to complete 2 different transactions.

  • No more than $300 can be deposited from a single credit card per day

  • No more than $300 can be deposited to a single inmate per day

A: No, prepaid cards are not accepted in the Inmate Banking systems. You must use a valid credit card or debit card that is not considered prepaid.

Q: Can I make a deposit over the phone?
A: Yes, you can make a deposit by calling our automated telephone service at (501) 474-6460 and following the instructions.


Q: Can a service desk representative take my information and make a payment for me?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot process your payment for you.


Q: I sent money to an inmate and they said they haven't received it yet.
A: Please allow 2 business days for processing to inmate's account. If 2 days have passed please have the inmate contact their Unit Phone Coordinator for further assistance.


Q: What is the minimum deposit required for Pre-Pay phone accounts?
A: There is a $25.00 minimum deposit required to deposit to an inmate's Pre-Pay Phone account. You can deposit more than this amount, but have to at least deposit this minimum amount.


Q: I deposited money to an inmate and they are saying there is no money available in their account.
A: Please have the inmate contact their Unit Phone Coordinator for further assistance.


Q: Can I get the balance of an inmate's trust account?
A: No, that information is confidential and not released to anyone other than the inmate.


Q: I have been released and would like to know how I will receive the remaining balance in my trust account?
A: At the time of your release, you should have completed a release disbursement. The check is mailed to the address given.
