How do I customize generated documents in Arlo?

Written by Justine Villanueva

You can customize the appearance of your generated documents by configuring your clinic branding and adjusting the PDF layout before downloading.

Customizing Clinic Branding

Your clinic branding is managed in Letter Settings.

  1. Navigate to Settings in the Arlo application.

  2. Select Letter Settings.

  3. In the Letter Settings section, you can:

    • Upload a clinic logo.

    • Add an e-signature by drawing one or uploading an e-signature image.

    • Choose whether to display your clinic logo and header.

    • Choose a Header Color.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

Once saved, your selected logo, header, and e-signature will be applied to newly generated documents where supported.

Customizing the PDF Layout

Before downloading a generated document, you can adjust its appearance in the PDF Preview window.

The PDF Preview allows you to customize:

  • Font size

  • Line spacing

  • Section spacing

  • Page margins

  • Text color

  • Header color

  • Show or hide the date

  • Show or hide the header & footer bar

  • Show or hide the clinic logo

If you regularly use the same layout, click Save as defaults to automatically apply your preferred settings to future document downloads.

Customizing your branding and PDF layout helps ensure your generated documents are consistent with your clinic's preferences and presentation standards. By saving your preferred layout, future document downloads will automatically use your selected formatting, making the process quicker and more consistent.
