The Information Requests module is your central hub for providing Armanino the documents, data, and inputs needed for tax work. It’s designed to make sharing information simple and efficient year-over-year.
What is a Request List?
A request list is a collection of individual requests related to a specific tax engagement or process. You can click request list names to switch between them, or hover to view overall status.
Navigating Information Requests
A request is an individual item within a request list—something we need from you (e.g., a document, data point, or confirmation)
Requests are grouped by Category. At a glance, you will be able to see the request name, description, due date, status, priority indicators and icons to show whether documents are comments are present. Click within a row to expand a request.
Complete Requests
Fulfill requests by uploading documents via drag-and-drop or by clicking to open your finder or file explorer. You can also mark requests as Not Applicable.
Have a comment or a question? Use the built-in chat functionality to coordinate with your tax team.
The Armanino team may also attach reference files or templates to assist you in fulfilling requests. These are found under Armanino Uploads. Click on the file name to download.
Files View
The Files tab shows a table of all files uploaded within a request list—your quick reference for what’s been submitted.
Workflow at a Glance
Requests start as Outstanding and progress through the statuses defined below.
Status | Description |
Outstanding | A new request that is pending files to be uploaded by you |
Fulfilled | You have uploaded the necessary files and they are ready to be reviewed by Armanino |
Returned | Files have been returned by Armanino and require corrections |
Not Applicable | Requests that are not relevant or do not apply to your organization |
Complete | We have successfully reviewed the files you provided and have what we need. All done! |
Here is the typical back-and-forth workflow to complete requests:
Armanino shares a request list, and all requests begin in Outstanding status.
Clients upload files and mark the request as Fulfilled for Armanino’s review.
Armanino reviews the files and either marks the request as Complete or returns it to Rejected, requiring corrections or additional information.
