How To: Manage Notification Settings

Instructions on how to manage your notification preferences and use the Daily Digest

TaxAdvantage allows you to control how and when you receive updates on client activity. You can choose to receive notifications immediately as they occur, as part of a daily summary, or both. Notification preferences can be adjusted at any time.

Where to Update Notification Settings

  1. Click your initials in the top‑right corner of TaxAdvantage.

  2. Select Notification Settings from the menu.

This will open your notification preferences, where you can manage alert types and delivery methods.

Notification Events & Delivery Options

In the Notification Settings window (shown below), you can choose which events you want to be notified about and how you prefer to receive those notifications.

Available Notification Events

  • Tax Request Fulfilled – Notifies you when a request is marked as fulfilled.

  • Tax Request Comment – Notifies you when a client leaves a new comment on a request.

Delivery Options

You can choose one or both delivery methods for each event:

  • Digest – Includes the selected events in your daily email digest, sent every morning around 8:00 AM ET.

  • Email – Sends an immediate, individual email each time the event occurs.

Simply check the box under Digest or Email for each event type to customize how you receive notifications.

About the Daily Digest

By default, all users are enrolled in the Daily Digest which provides a consolidated summary of activity across all your clients and request lists. Each item in the digest contains clickable links that take you directly to the related request in TaxAdvantage, making it easy to jump into the platform and take action.
