The Notices module provides a centralized workspace for managing tax notices from upload through resolution. AI-powered data extraction reduces manual entry, while the full‑screen Notice Details view enables faster review, editing, and collaboration.

Uploading Notices

Upload scanned notices and let our AI extract key data like due dates, amounts, and jurisdictions—saving time and reducing manual entry.

  1. Open the Tools dropdown and select Upload.

  2. Drag-and-drop or select PDF files.

    • PDF only, up to 25 files per batch, <10MB each.

  3. AI automatically extracts key fields (jurisdiction, tax type, amount due, entity, due date) and populates the notices table.

  4. As notices process, status and extracted data update in real time.

Using KPI Filters

KPIs at the top of the table provide quick, clickable filters:

  • Recently Uploaded — notices added in the last 7 days

  • Due Soon — due within 7 days

  • Past Due — due date has passed

  • Unresolved — not yet marked resolved

  • Resolved — completed with a resolution summary

Click any KPI to filter the notices table instantly.

Notice Statuses

Notices move through discrete statuses to track progress:

  • New — newly uploaded

  • In Progress – Armanino — Armanino team is actively working the notice

  • In Progress – Client — action required from the client

  • In Progress – Tax Authority — awaiting response from the jurisdiction

  • Resolved — completed with a documented resolution

Status changes are logged automatically in the activity feed.

Notice Details View

Click any notice to open the full‑screen details page.

  • Details Panel (Left): View and edit extracted notice fields, with changes saving immediately to the record.

  • Documents Panel (Left): Upload and manage supporting documents while preserving the original notice separately.

  • Document Viewer (Center): Preview the original notice with zoom, page navigation, and download controls.

  • Activity & Collaboration (Right): View a client‑visible audit trail and add comments to collaborate with clients and your team.
