Review and manage client-uploaded documents with greater speed and clarity
The Files View within the Information Requests module gives tax professionals a streamlined way to review all uploaded documents in one place. Instead of navigating through individual requests, you can now see a consolidated list of files—making it easier to find uploads and take action.

This view is designed to align with your workflow, helping you focus on what matters most: reviewing client documents quickly and accurately.

Key Features & How to Use

View Uploaded Files

  • Switch to the Files View from the top of the Information Requests page

  • See all uploaded files in a table format, including:

    • File Name

    • Associated Request Name, Category and Status

    • File Status

    • Uploader

    • Upload Timestamp

Files are sorted by upload date (newest first) by default.

Quick Actions

  • Click directly on Request Status or File Status to update them inline

  • When marking a file or request as Returned, a modal will prompt you to leave a comment for the client

If you are returning a request or specific file, you will be prompted with an opportunity to type in a return comment/reason.

Search, Sort & Filter

  • Use the search bar to find files by keyword

  • Sort by date, request name, or uploader

  • Apply filters to narrow down by status, category, or priority

Preview & Download

  • Click the preview button (eye icon) next to the file name to view within your browser before download

  • Click on the file name to or download icon to save the file

  • To bulk download files, use checkboxes to select multiple files. Then Open the Tools dropdown and choose Bulk Download to export selected files

Armanino-Provided Files

Files shared by Armanino are clearly marked with the Armanino logo and labeled “Provided by Armanino” in the File Status column. The file status for Armanino files cannot be changed.

Changes Synced with Request List View

Any changes made in the Files View—such as status updates or comments—are automatically reflected in the standard Request List view, ensuring consistency across the platform.
