Taking a break from renting? No problem! Here’s everything you need to know about how pausing your Armoire membership works.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

⏳ Timing & Duration

How long can I pause my membership for?

You can pause your membership for in 1 month intervals and can extend your pause up to 7 days before your membership is scheduled to resume.

Can I pause immediately, or does it start at the end of my billing cycle?

For monthly plans, pauses begin at the end of your current billing cycle. You’ll still have full access to your plan through the end of your current paid cycle. For prepay plans, your pause will begin immediately.

How far in advance do I need to request a pause?

We recommend submitting your pause at least 1–2 days before your next billing date.

💳 Billing & Payments

Will I be charged while my membership is paused?

Nope! Billing is paused during your pause period.

What happens to my billing date when I resume?

Your billing date will reset based on the day you resume your membership. For example, if your pause ends and you resume on the 10th, your new billing cycle will begin that day.

If I pause in the middle of a billing cycle, do I get a credit or partial refund?

Pauses always take effect at the end of your billing cycle, and we do not issue credits or refunds for unused days. Your full cycle remains available until your pause begins.

📦 Clothing & Returns

Can I keep the clothes I have during the pause?

No, all rented items must be returned by the start date of your pause.

🔁 Resuming Membership

How do I resume my membership?

You can resume anytime from your account page by selecting "Resume Membership". Your plan will reactivate and a new billing cycle will begin immediately.

Can I resume early if I change my mind?

Yes, you’re welcome to resume early at any time during your pause.

Will I get the same plan when I come back?

Yes! When you resume, you’ll be automatically reactivated with the same plan unless you choose to switch.
