In This Guide:
How to create an Asset Form
An asset form acts like a template or container for your assets. For example, if you create a form called “Tablet”, you can then create multiple tablet assets under that form.
Steps:
Create a new form (see How to Add Forms for help).
Add the fields you'll need, such as:
Device type
Serial number
Asset image
Purchase date, etc.
Click the Settings cog at the bottom-right of the form builder.
In the popup window, change the Form Type from Form to Asset.
You can also upload a Logo Image that will visually represent your asset form.
Click Save and then Publish the form.
Where to Find Your Assets
Once your asset form is published:
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select “Users & Teams”.
From the top menu, choose “Assets”.
If your asset form isn’t listed yet:
Click the plus (+) button in the top-right corner.
Select your asset form and assign a logo image.
Click Save.
To remove a form from the asset list:
Select the checkbox next to the asset form.
Click “Remove Form from Assets” at the bottom of the page.
How to Create Individual Assets
Each asset is a submission of your asset form. Here’s how to create one:
From the Assets page, click on your desired asset form.
Click the plus (+) button in the top-right corner.
Fill out the asset form with the specific asset’s information.
Click Save.
Your new asset will now appear in the list. Repeat as needed to create additional items.
Managing Assets
Edit: Click the pencil icon on the asset card, update the form, and click Save.
Delete: Check the box next to the asset and click “Move to Trash”.
Download: Select multiple assets using the checkboxes and click “Download”.
🔍 You can also view and manage asset submissions under the Results section of the form builder.
How to Assign Assets to Users or Teams
You can assign assets to any user or team in your Array account.
To Assign:
Click the pencil icon on the asset you want to assign.
Find the “Assigned To” dropdown.
Select a user or team from the list.
Click Save in the top-right corner.
To Unassign:
Click the pencil icon again.
In the “Assigned To” dropdown, scroll to the top and select “Unassigned”.
Click Save.
Assigned assets will now show the associated user or team for easier tracking and accountability.
