Folder Branding is a simple yet powerful visual tool that helps you personalise the look of your folders in Array. Custom icons, colours, or images make it easier to identify folders at a glance—perfect for distinguishing between teams, departments, or project types.
With Folder Branding, you can:
Add background colours
Choose or change icons
Upload custom images or logos
Improve visual organisation on both the Web and Mobile App

How to Access Folder Branding
Go to the Tools Menu
Click the ‘Tools’ dropdown in the top-right corner of the screen, next to your account name.
Select ‘Folders’
This will bring you to your Folders dashboard where all existing folders are listed.
Open Folder Branding Settings
Find the folder you'd like to customise, click the three-dot menu (⋮), and then choose ‘Style Folder’.
Branding Options
When the branding pop-up appears, you’ll have several options to customise the folder:
Option | Description |
Box Colour | Set the background colour of the folder (visible on web). |
Icon | Choose from a range of folder icons. |
Icon Colour | Pick a colour for the selected icon. |
Image Upload | Upload a logo or image. Note: This overrides the Box Colour, Icon, and Icon Colour on the web, but the icon and colour are still used on the mobile app. |
Remove Image | Only appears if an image has been uploaded—click to revert back to icon view. |
Click ‘Save’ to apply your changes.

Use consistent colours for department-specific folders (e.g., Marketing, Operations).
Use images for high-priority folders or client-specific projects.
