In-App Reporting Guide

View, manage, and act on your data — anywhere, anytime.

In-app reporting gives teams immediate access to real-time data directly from the mobile application, enhancing the ability to monitor, analyze, and respond to field submissions without returning to the office.

This feature ensures that field teams, supervisors, and managers can stay connected with live data—boosting productivity, collaboration, and operational decision-making.

User Permissions & Access

Access to reports is managed through user permissions. Each user’s access level determines which forms, submissions, and reports they can view.

  • Data is secured by role-based access to ensure only authorized users can view sensitive information.

  • If you don’t see any reports or data upon login, it’s likely due to insufficient permissions. An admin will need to update your access level.

How It Works in the App

Step 1: Log In

After downloading the Array app and logging in, you’ll be presented with your assigned folders and forms.

Step 2: Open the Sidebar Navigation

Tap the three-line menu (☰) in the top-left corner.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Status (view form submissions & sync status)

  • Starred Forms

  • Reports (if enabled for your user role)

🔒 If you don’t see the “Reports” section, your permission level may need to be updated by an admin.

Accessing Reports

  1. Tap “Reports” in the side menu.

  2. You’ll see a list of forms or team reports available to you.

  3. Tap a report tile to open the corresponding report for that form.

Report Views Available

When you open a report, you’ll have access to the same key views available on the desktop version:

  • Map View – See geolocation of submissions.

  • Graph View – Visualize form data with charts and graphs.

  • Media View – Access images, videos, and files submitted through the form.

  • Submissions View – Browse and search individual form entries.

All data is updated in real time, so new submissions appear instantly after sync.

User Permission Levels

To support in-app reporting, we’ve enhanced our user role system, allowing for more granular control of data access.

This means:

  • Users only see what they need to see.

  • Admins can tailor access to fit job roles.

  • Sensitive data remains secure and compliant.
