How to Fill in a Web Form
There are two main ways to access and fill out Web Forms:
1. Public Link Access (No Login Required)
You can share a Web Form via a public link. This is ideal for clients or external users, as it allows them to fill in a form without needing an account or logging in.
2. User Access (Login Required)
Registered users can log into the platform to access forms assigned to their account.
Accessing the Web App
To access your forms:
Log in at buildarray.com/login.
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
Select “Web App” from the dropdown menu.
This will take you to your Web Forms dashboard where you can open and complete any assigned form.
Once you open a form (via link or Web App), you’ll see a blank version ready for data entry. Use your keyboard to enter text and numbers, and your mouse to click through the form or sign digital signature fields.
Media Elements
Web Forms support multiple types of media uploads, including:
- Take Picture
Allows you to upload images from your device. A counter shows how many images have been uploaded and the remaining space available.
- Take Video / Take Audio / Attach Document
These elements allow you to upload video, audio, or documents directly from your computer. Once a file is attached, an icon or confirmation appears on the element.
- Draw Over Picture / Draw Over Image
These tools allow you to draw directly over images using your mouse — perfect for annotations or highlighting areas.
Note: You can upload media from your computer, but cannot capture new photos, videos, or audio directly from the browser.
Logic and Functions
Web Forms support real-time logic and form functions, just like in the mobile or desktop builder:
Logic: If your form uses conditional logic (e.g., reveal a text box when "Yes" is selected), it will update live as the user fills out the form.
Functions: Elements with functions (e.g., calculations, auto-totals) will show a small icon and perform the assigned function as data is entered.
These dynamic features help streamline data capture and reduce user input errors.
