This guide will walk you through what 2FA is, how it works, and how to set it up on your Array account.
What is 2-Step Authentication?
2-Step Authentication (also called 2FA or Multi-Factor Authentication) adds a second verification step to your login process.
Instead of just entering your username and password, you’ll also be required to enter a time-sensitive, 6-digit code generated by the Google Authenticator app — or delivered via SMS, voice call, or security key.
Benefits of 2FA
Stronger Account Security
Even if your password is compromised, no one can access your account without your second verification method.Unique Codes Every Login
A new 6-digit code is generated every 30 seconds in the Google Authenticator app.Works Without Network Signal
The Authenticator app does not require cellular or internet access to generate codes.Backup Codes Available
You can generate and store backup codes in case you lose access to the app.
How 2FA Works in Array
Log in to Array with your username and password.
Open the Google Authenticator app (or another authentication method).
Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app.
Access granted! You're now logged in securely.
You’ll need to enter a new code every time you log in.
