How to Create a New Task
Click on the Tools menu in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
Select Tasks from the dropdown.
You’ll land on the Task Reports page. In the top right-hand corner, click the plus (+) icon to create a new task.
A new task window will open where you can configure all task details.
Task Features
The task creation panel is split into top, left, and right sections, offering flexible options:
Top of Task Window
Field | Description |
Task Title | Name of the task |
Priority | Set priority level (1–4), with 4 being the highest |
Date & Time | Set task start and end date/time |
All Day | Toggle to mark the task as an all-day event |
Repeat | Set up recurring tasks by minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years |
Escalation | Assign a fallback user or team if the task isn’t completed by a set deadline |
Left Side Panel
Feature | Description |
Location | Indicate where the task will occur |
Description | Add detailed notes or instructions |
Tags | Create or assign tags for easier filtering and organization |
Notify Me Via | Choose to receive email notifications about task status |
Attach Forms | Click the plus (+) to attach one or more forms for the assignee to complete |
Attach Files | Upload any files needed to complete the task (e.g., reference documents or instructions) |
Right Side Panel
Feature | Description |
Users | Assign individual users to the task |
Teams | Assign an entire team |
Max Accepts | Limit how many users can accept the task |
Notify User of Task Via | Choose to notify users by email |
Guest Permissions | Enable delegation of tasks to others if needed |
Saving the Task
Once you've configured all the task details, click Save in the top-right corner to create your task.
Task Views
After your task is saved, you can view and manage it in several formats:
Status View – See tasks marked as Pending, Scheduled, Completed, or Missed
Board View – Visualize tasks grouped by tags or status (great for Kanban-style workflows)
List View – Traditional list layout of all tasks
Calendar View – View tasks across a timeline or schedule

Task Reports
Stay on top of performance and accountability with built-in reporting:
View pending, scheduled, completed, or missed tasks
Filter tasks by team, individual, priority, or tag
Monitor completion rates and identify bottlenecks
Visit the Reports section to access your Task Reports at any time.
