Troubleshooting delivery estimates

What to do when your delivery estimates look incorrect

We support lots of different rules types. For heavy users this can get very complicated very easily. Even in simple cases it can be confusing.

Here's a quick list of things to check if you're seeing the wrong delivery estimates:

  • Is delivery on the weekend? By default we skip weekend days for delivery. You can change this in the app settings.

  • Did you add a holiday / blackout date?

  • Is the product in stock? We allow for different processing time for out of stock products. You can change this in the app settings.

  • Is a custom rule active? Note that if multiple rules apply to the same product, we cannot guarantee behavior.

  • Is a custom market active? We allow for different markets to show different delivery times.

It's very common for an unexpected rule or settings to affect your delivery estimates.

To help with this, we’ve added the rule explainer.

You can enable the rule explainer in the Theme editor, it’s down at the very bottom.

In this case, the "Yellow shirt" rule is used for the delivery estimate. If no rule is used then it will say "Default"

The rule explainer shows the rule/reason for the delivery estimate. This will help you troubleshoot any delivery estimates. It only shows up in the Theme editor, never on your live site.
