When fulfill-by dates are on, ArrivesBy sets the Fulfill by column on Shopify's Orders page from each order's estimated ship date. Your team sees when each order needs to go out, using the same date ArrivesBy used for the delivery estimate.
Plus plan required. Fulfill-by dates are available on the Plus plan. Plus works with any Shopify store and has nothing to do with Shopify Plus.
Turn it on
In ArrivesBy, open Settings and scroll to Advanced.
If you see Fulfillment permissions required, select Enable permissions and approve the request in Shopify. The switch stays off until you do.
Turn on Set Shopify fulfill-by dates.
Select Save.
How the date is set
The ship date. ArrivesBy uses the order's estimated ship date. When an order has several items, that's the earliest ship date among them.
End of that day. Fulfill by is set to 11:59 p.m. on the ship date, in the time zone saved in your ArrivesBy settings. If that time zone is missing or invalid, ArrivesBy doesn't set the date.
Every open fulfillment. If an order is split across locations, each open fulfillment gets the same date.
Which orders it applies to
New orders get a Fulfill by date once ArrivesBy has calculated their delivery estimate. ArrivesBy skips an order that:
doesn't need shipping, or is cancelled, voided, refunded, or excluded from ArrivesBy,
has no open fulfillment at a location you manage (fulfillments that are already complete or closed are left alone), or
is fulfilled by a third party or marketplace. Only merchant-managed fulfillments are supported.
Existing orders
Turning the setting on doesn't backfill orders you already have. Only new orders receive a fulfill-by date.
When you edit a ship date
Change the Estimated ship date on an order in ArrivesBy and save, and Fulfill by moves to the new date.
Turning it off or changing plans
Turning the setting off, or downgrading your ArrivesBy plan, stops ArrivesBy from setting or updating fulfill-by dates. It doesn't clear dates on existing orders.
