How Arrives By handles holidays

Holidays can be the busiest time for shoppers and Shopify businesses. It's also when accurate delivery estimates are most important. No one wants buy the perfect Christmas gift only for it to arrive on Dec 30th.

But businesses don't all run 24 hours and we take holidays too. The blackout dates feature lets you add these days to Arrives By so that we can include them in your delivery estimates.

Taking a well-deserved week long company holiday in the summer? Add those dates as blackout dates and your website will automatically show those items won't ship until your team is back and refreshed.

You can add blackout dates in the Settings page. Oh, and don't forget that these dates aren't recurring (If you want Christmas to always be a blackout date you need to manually add it every year).
