Getting there

Under the Customers tab, click the "Show Profile" button next to the customer you wish to view or edit.

This will bring you to the Customer's Profile. Read on below to explore some of the features that can be found here.

Features

The right side of the screen has an Overview tab, as well as a tab for each Department the customer has purchased from. In the Overview tab, you can find overall purchase data, recent bidding and purchasing activity, as well as a visual representation of the customer's interests:

This graphic uses AI algorithms to represent the customer's interests as circles of different sizes and colors.

Under the tabs for each Department, you can find the customer's purchases by category:

There's also a place to edit a customer's preferences using tags:

If you'd like to alter a customer's recommendations, you can: add new tags by typing them into the box, delete a tag the customer is no longer interested in by clicking the 'x' on the left of the tag, make a tag an active tag by clicking the '+' on the right of the tag, or Star active tags. To read more about tags, click here.

Below the tags box, you'll find the details of the customer's bidding and purchase history within that category:

Items where the image is displayed and the price is in green are items the customer has purchased. Items in gray are items the customer has bid on.

On the left side of the Customer's Profile, you'll find the customer's name, contact information, details, and Top Departments. This is also where you'll find two important buttons:

The Edit Customer button allows you to edit the customer's Email Address, Customer ID, Name and Phone number. You can also change their Subscription Status and VIP Status. Lastly, you can also add or delete a Department to the customer's profile.

The Recommendations button is where the AI works its magic to match the customer with lots in your upcoming sale. When it's done working, the matched lots are displayed along with their price and Match Score.
