What Is a Consignment Campaign?

A Consignment Campaign is designed to help you attract new consignments by showing potential sellers examples of items that sold well in past auctions.

By displaying successful results from categories your customers have already shown interest in, you build trust, demonstrate demand, and encourage them to consign similar items — increasing the chances of securing high-quality consignments for

future sales.

To create a Consignment Campaign:

  1. Go to the Campaigns tab and click on "Create New". Select "Consignment Email".

  2. Give your campaign a name. To target specific departments or categories, enable “Targeted Departments and Categories” and choose the relevant options from the list.

  3. Here you can apply additional filters to control which items appear in your consignment campaign.
You can filter items by their sold price range and by the date of the auction in which they were sold.

You’ll also be able to see, at any time, the number of items that match your filters and preview them instantly before continuing.

  4. At any time, you can click on the item counter to open a pop-up showing all the items that might be included.
From there, you can remove or re-add specific items whenever you’d like.

  5. The system automatically targets customers based on their interests, but you can further refine the audience by filtering specific segments, labels, or by their activity in other campaigns — just like in other campaign types.

  6. Just like in other campaigns, you can choose the sender name, subject line, and preview text.
You can also use merge tags to personalize the email with customer data — such as their first name, last name, and much more.

  7. Edit the design of the email to your liking, and be sure to send yourself a test email.

  8. On the last tab (Summary), you can click on the recipient counter to see the list of all recipients.

By clicking on the list icon, you can also view which items will be shown to each recipient.

Save your campaign, choose to Schedule or Send — and watch your items take off! 🚀
