There are two ways to create a Customer Label.
The first way is to create the label you want and add it to each customer individually. The second way is to upload in a batch to create/add a label to multiple customers at once.
How to Add to Individual Customers
Add the desired labels
Go to the "Departments and Categories" section
Scroll down to the Customer Labels area.
In order to add a new label, typethe label and click Enter.
In order to delete a label, hover over the label and click on the X. (This will automatically also delete the label from all customers).
2. Adding the Label to the Customer's Profile:
After creating the label, go to the Customers tab, select the customer profile to which you wish to add the label and select it from their labels section
When clicking in that field, a list of existing customer labels will appear and you can select the one(s) you want to add.
We recommend the above way if you want to add a label to a few select customers.
How to Add/Update/Delete Customer Labels in a Batch
If you wish to update customers in a batch, you can do that by uploading a CSV file.
Once the labels were added to Artbrain, you can upload your customer data using this format.
The only columns that are needed for the file to be accepted are columns A (email), B (Customer No.), and T (Customer Labels)
Only email and customer labels have to have data in the columns
Once the labels are added to Artbrain, you can upload your customer data using this format.
In order to delete a label, please fill column T (Remove Labels) with your desired deleted label.
Spelling must be accurate
By uploading this CSV, you are either adding the labels to an existing customer with that email address or creating a new customer if the email doesn’t exist.
So if the email does not match the one in your Artbrain profile, it will create a new customer with that email and no other information
Prepare the CSV file and upload it from the Customers section through this button:
Using the Labels:
