Welcome to Artega! We're thrilled to have you join us on this exciting journey into the world of Web3. Before you can sign up and start using all the amazing features our platform offers, you'll need to set up a cryptocurrency wallet.
Why do you need a wallet?
As a Web3 company, Artega is different from traditional platforms. We don’t rely on payment systems like Stripe, PayPal, or banks because they don’t align with our values around privacy and control over your own finances. Instead, we use cryptocurrency, which allows you to pay and receive funds in a secure, private, and decentralized way. We believe that traditional payment systems often put consumer interests second, and we’re committed to empowering our users with full control over their financial transactions.
What is a cryptocurrency wallet?
Think of a crypto wallet as your digital bank account, but with added security and privacy. It’s where you store your funds and manage your interactions on the blockchain. In order to sign up for Artega, you need a wallet because it ensures we can securely process payments for the services you’ll offer. Without a wallet, we wouldn’t be able to pay you or handle transactions properly.
We understand that setting up a wallet might sound a bit technical, but don’t worry! We’ve made it easy with our step-by-step guide to choosing the right wallet for you. Check it out here: Guide to choosing your crypto wallet. [ALPHA TESTERS - PLEASE VISIT ALPHA TESTING HOMEPAGE]
What is a wallet key?
A wallet key is a critical part of your crypto wallet—it’s like an email address, but instead of sending a message, people send you crypto. During the sign-up process, you’ll need your wallet key, so be sure to store it somewhere safe and secure. You’ll be asked for it when you create your Artega account, and without it, the sign-up process cannot be completed.

You’ll need a wallet that accepts USDT (Tether)
To make the most of your Artega experience, you'll need a wallet that supports USDT, also known as Tether. Tether is a type of stablecoin, which means it doesn’t experience the same fluctuations as other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. This is because Tether is pegged to a national (or fiat) currency, specifically the US dollar, which gives it much more stability. This makes USDT ideal for those who want to use cryptocurrency for transactions and purchases, rather than for speculative investment. While it’s tied to the value of the US dollar, it’s important to note that Tether is not directly linked to the U.S. government or any official financial institutions. It’s a decentralized stablecoin that gives you the best of both worlds: the reliability of traditional currency and the freedom of cryptocurrency.
Once your wallet is set up and ready to go, you’re just a few steps away from completing your Artega account and starting your Web3 adventure.
