🖼️ How to Recreate the OVR 1.0 Style
If you miss the simplicity of our classic Online Viewing Rooms, you can still achieve that clean, familiar layout using OVR 2.0's style controls. Once you’ve customized your layout, you can save it as your default for all future rooms.
✅ General Settings
Show inquire button next to artworks
Make sure this option is checked to display the "Inquire" button below each artwork—just like in OVR 1.0.
♟️ Header Settings
Disable the banner image
In the Header section, toggle Display Banner off to remove the banner area that OVR 1.0 did not include.
🎨 Text Formatting Adjustments
In the Text Formatting tab, update the following for a cleaner, minimal appearance:
Header size: Change from the default
44to28for a more subtle title—this closely matches OVR 1.0 proportions.
Caption color: Change the caption font to a gray tone (e.g., light gray or #B0B0B0) to match the classic muted label style of OVR 1.0.

You don’t need to change anything in this tab but please feel free to play around and see what options you prefer!
🗂️ Documents & Installations
If you’re including Installation Views, you can control where they appear:
In the Documents & Installations tab, set the toggle to Bottom
This places installation views at the very end of the page, consistent with how they appeared in the older format.
💾 Save Your Style as a Default
Once you're happy with the look:
Click Save Styles in the upper-right corner of the editor.
In the pop-up that appears, select Save as Default.
This will save all your layout preferences, fonts, and formatting choices—so every future OVR will start with this clean, simplified style by default.
You don’t need to give up the classic OVR layout you’re familiar with. With just a few quick adjustments, you can recreate the clean, minimal look of OVR 1.0 using the new OVR 2.0 editor—and save it as your default style so you never have to redo it.

Q: Will this setting apply to all my existing OVRs?
A: No, saving a default style only affects new OVRs you create moving forward. You can manually apply the same style to older ones.
Q: Can I change my default style later?
A: Yes! You can update your styling at any time—just repeat the same Save Styles > Save as Default process with your new preferences.
Q: I saved a default, but it didn’t apply—what happened?
A: Make sure you tapped “Save as Default” in the final confirmation pop-up. Otherwise, it saves only for the current OVR.
