Online Viewing Rooms 2.0 is now available on mobile — making it easier than ever to create, customize, and share stunning OVR links on the go. Quickly update exhibition details, share links with collectors, and track visits — all from your phone.

✅ Before You Start
Mobile OVRs inherit default template settings from the web version of ARTERNAL
We recommend customizing your template from the web first, as not all settings are editable on mobile yet
✏️ Creating an OVR
Navigate to the list, exhibition, or fair you'd like to turn into a Viewing Room
Tap the list to open it
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
Select Viewing Rooms
Tap the ➕ plus icon to create a new OVR
Give your OVR an internal name (only visible to you)
Update the URL slug if needed (this becomes the public-facing link)
✅ Your new OVR will appear in the Viewing Rooms list — ready to customize!
🎨 Customizing an OVR
Once your OVR is created, tap on it to edit:
General Info
Link name (shown to viewers)
Associated contact
Content
Title & Description
Header title
Subheading
Body text
Footer text
💡 Tap the Text Formatting button for markdown-style shortcuts.
Header & Banner
Display date
Display banner
Choose a banner image
Use an external URL or select an image from the list.
Adjust banner height with the slider
Customize overlay appearance (text color, opacity, etc.)
📲 Engagement & Access Controls
Ask for email address on entry
Show “Inquire” button under artworks
Toggle visibility of documents or installation views
💡 All changes save automatically!
📤 Sharing & Previewing
Tap Preview to view your OVR link on mobile
Tap Share Link to send via text, WhatsApp, email, etc.
To send via ARTERNAL Smart Mail, just copy the URL and paste it into your message
⚙️ Other Options
Tap the three-dot menu (
⋯) to:View Inventory List
Disable Link (makes the URL inaccessible)
Delete Viewing Room (permanently removes it)
ℹ️ Other Things to Note
Users not on Principal+ tiers will have OVR tracking analytics disabled.
If you are a user of both OVRs and Interests, or if the number of tabs exceeds 5, the OVR tab will move into the Dashboard (Home icon).

💬 FAQ (Frequently Asked Questons)
Q. Can I create a new OVR from my phone?
Yes! Tap "+" and follow the prompts — no desktop needed.
Q. Where do the banner and layout settings come from?
They follow the default template saved on the web version of ARTERNAL.
Q. Can I use any image as the banner?
Yes — you can paste an external URL or select an image from the list.
Q. How can I track visits?
OVRs show view counts. If you associate a contact or send via Smart Mail, those visits are tracked in the contact’s timeline.
Q. What’s the difference between disabling and deleting a link?
Disabling makes the link inactive (without deleting content). You can re-enable it anytime.
