Managing your Static Lists just got much simpler. You can now remove a contact from any list directly from their profile—no need to navigate through the Lists tab or use the Selection Cart.

This update streamlines list management and saves several steps when organizing your contacts.

How to Remove a Contact from a Static List

1. Open the Contact’s Profile

Navigate to the contact you want to update.

2. Tap “Found in X Static Lists”

This link shows how many Static Lists the contact currently belongs to.

3. Remove the Contact from a List

On the Static Lists page, you’ll see each list along with a small “×” icon.

Tap “×” next to the list you’d like to remove them from.

The contact is removed instantly — no extra confirmation steps or navigation needed.

That’s it!

This improvement gives you a faster, more intuitive way to keep your lists organized without leaving the contact’s profile.

Q: Will this update affect SmartMail segments or automations?

If a contact is removed after the Static List has already been added to a SmartMail draft, they will still appear in the recipients list on the left-hand side.
However, if the Static List is added to SmartMail after the contact has been removed from it, the contact will not appear as a recipient.

Q: Does this change anything about how lists are created or managed?

A: No — this improvement only adds the ability to remove contacts directly from their profile. All other list functionality remains the same.
