Managing contacts in ARTERNAL allows you to archive contacts you no longer need while retaining their information. If you wish to permanently remove a contact, you can do so by deleting it after archiving. Follow these steps for both individual and batch actions.

Archiving a Single Contact:

  1. Navigate to the Contact:
Go to the contact you want to archive.

  2. Open the Menu:
Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the contact’s name and select Archive Contact from the dropdown.

  3. Confirm the Action:
A confirmation prompt will appear—click Archive to confirm. The contact will be moved to the Archived list, keeping the data but removing it from your main Contacts view.

Archiving Multiple Contacts (Batch Archive):

  1. Add Contacts to the Selection Cart:
Select the contacts you want to archive by checking the boxes next to their names.

  2. Access the Batch Action:
Once the contacts are selected, click on the three dots (⋮) at the top of the screen and choose Archive Contacts.

  3. Confirm the Archive:
A confirmation prompt will appear—click Archive Selected to proceed. This method allows you to archive several contacts at once.

Deleting Contacts After Archiving:

To permanently delete a contact, it must be archived first. Once a contact is archived:

  1. Go to Archived Contacts:
In the left-hand menu, select Archived Contacts.

  2. Locate and Delete:
Find the contact(s) you want to delete and click the Delete Icon next to the contact.

  3. Confirm Deletion:
A prompt will appear—click Delete to permanently remove the contact. Once deleted, the contact’s information is permanently removed from your database and cannot be recovered.

Unarchiving a Contact:

If you need to restore an archived contact:

  1. Navigate to Archived Contacts:
Go to Archived Contacts in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select and Unarchive:
Choose the contact you wish to unarchive and click the Unarchive Contact button to move it back to your main Contacts list. This option allows you to regain access to a contact after archiving without deleting it
