In ARTERNAL, you can assign associations and sub-locations to artworks, helping you manage and organize your inventory more effectively. Here’s how to add these details to a work:

Step 1: Select the Work

  • In the Inventory tab, select the work you want to add a sub-location to.

Step 2: Edit the Location

  • In the Basic Info box, click the Edit Location icon to add or update the location and association.

Step 3: Choose a Location

  • From the Location drop-down menu, select the desired location for the work.

Step 4: Add a Sub-Location

  • Enter your sub-location in the Sublocation text box.

Step 5: Add an Association

  • To add an association to the sub-location, click Assign to Contact and search for the contact you want to associate with the work.

Step 6: Add a Note (Optional)

  • You can also add an optional note in the Note section.

  • To save your changes, click Save. The new association will now appear under Associations.
