Editing a contact on the ARTERNAL mobile app is quick and easy. This guide walks you through updating any contact details, including adding notes, adjusting associations, or updating statuses — all from your iPhone.

Edit a Contact on iOS

Follow the steps below to update any contact information from your mobile device.

1. Open the Contact

  1. Tap Contacts from the bottom menu.

  2. Select the contact you want to edit.


2. Tap “Edit”

Once you’re on the contact profile, tap Edit in the top-right corner.


3. Make Your Changes

You can update:

  • Name, email, phone number

  • Tags

  • Contact associations

  • Notes

  • Relationship type

  • Organization details

Tap into any field you’d like to change and update the information as needed.


4. Save Your Updates

Once finished, tap Save in the top-right corner.

Your contact will update immediately across your ARTERNAL account.

Q: Can I edit multiple contacts at once on iOS?

A: Not yet — bulk editing is only available on desktop. On mobile, contacts can be updated one at a time.

Q: Will editing a contact change their SmartMail history?

A: No. All previous SmartMail activity stays the same, even if you update the contact’s details.

Q: Does updating a contact sync across all devices?

A: Yes. Any changes made on iOS will sync instantly across desktop and other devices logged into your ARTERNAL account.
