How to Create a New List - iOS 📱

Create a new list in the ARTERNAL iOS app to organize artworks for exhibitions, sharing, or Online Viewing Rooms.

Lists help you group artworks for exhibitions, presentations, Online Viewing Rooms, and sharing. This article walks through how to create a new list using the ARTERNAL iOS app.

Step-by-Step: Create a New List

  1. Open the ARTERNAL app on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap Inventory in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Select Lists to view your existing lists.

  4. Tap the ➕ icon in the top right corner

  5. Enter a List name and (optional) description.

  6. Tap Save.

Your new list will now appear in your Lists view and is ready to be used.


What’s Next

Once your list is created, you can:

  • Add artworks directly from inventory

  • Use the Selection Cart to add multiple works at once

  • Use the list to create an Online Viewing Room

Q: Can I edit the list name later?
A: Yes. You can rename or update the list details at any time from the list’s settings.

Q: Does creating a list add artworks automatically?
A: No. Lists are created empty. You’ll need to add artworks manually after creating the list.

A: Yes. A single list can be reused for sharing, reporting, or creating multiple Online Viewing Rooms.
