Use the ARTERNAL iOS app to quickly update artwork details, replace images, and manage inventory information while you’re on the go. This article walks through how to edit an existing work step by step.

Before You Start
Make sure you’re logged into the ARTERNAL iOS app
You must have permission to edit inventory in your account
Step 1: Open the work you want to edit
How to edit a work from the artwork view
1. Tap on the artwork to open it.
2. Tap the edit action menu in the top corner.
3. Select Edit Work.
4. Make your changes and tap Save.
How to edit a work from the All Works list
1. Go to All Works.
2. Long-press on a work.
3. Select Edit Work from the menu.
4. Make your changes and tap Save.
Step 2: Edit artwork details
While in edit mode, tap into any field to make changes, including:
Title
Artist
Year
Medium
Dimensions
Price
Inventory Number/ID
Save your changes
When finished, tap Save in the top-right corner. Your updates will sync automatically across ARTERNAL

Step 3: Update artwork images
Add additional images
Take on the artwork
In the top corner, click on the edit icon
Choose "+ Upload Alt View"

Q: Can I edit works that were created on desktop?
A: Yes. Any work in your inventory can be edited on iOS, regardless of where it was created.
Q: Why don’t I see the Edit button?
A: You may not have editing permissions, or the work may be restricted based on your account role.
Q: Do image updates sync across devices?
A: Yes. Images and edits made on iOS will appear on desktop and other devices.
