If your email is hosted by Google, before linking your email to ARTERNAL, you need to make some changes in the email settings, to approve ARTERNAL as a third party app. Here's how to do so:

1. Log in to the Google Admin page and select Security. Please note that only the admin person of the Google account can access this console. If you cannot login to this page, please contact your coworkers to find out the admin person. If you don't see Security on the main page, you can find it from the left hand side bar.

2. Select Security -> scroll down click API controls

3. In the API controls page, click Manage Third-Party App Access

4. Hit Add App and select the first option OAuth App Name Or Client ID

4. In a search field put ARTERNAL.

5. Select all the client IDs

6. Select the intended scope. Default is to provide access to everyone.

7. After that, choose Trusted and click Configure.

8. Confirm your selection and click Finish

NOTE: This instruction is for business accounts powered by Google. For emails with @gmail.com domain, they cannot be linked to ARTERNAL and need to be put on AWS instead.
