When creating a transaction, users can also download a calendar event for the transaction. It can serve as a reminder for upcoming due dates or a tool to document when a transaction was made. Here's how to use this feature:

Step 1: Add to Calendar

  • When creating a transaction, click the Add to Calendar button.

Step 2: Edit Calendar Details

  • In the modal window, edit the Title and Description fields as needed.

  • Click Add to Calendar to download the .ics calendar file.

Note:

  • For consignments and loans, the calendar events will cover the entire time period.

  • For other transactions like invoices and payables, the calendar events will be for single dates.

.

Step 3: Upload the .ics File to Your Calendar

a. For local Apple or Microsoft Windows calendars, click on the downloaded .ics file, and it will automatically open in your local calendar.

b. For Google Calendar, go to the Settings on the top right, select Import & Export, and upload the .ics file.

Step 4: Access the Transaction via Calendar

  • Once the event is uploaded, you can go directly from the calendar event to the corresponding ARTERNAL transaction by clicking on the link in the event.
