If you use Mac Mail as your primary email provider, you may need to generate an app-specific password to connect with ARTERNAL. Follow the steps below to generate that password and link your Mac Mail account to ARTERNAL.

How to Generate an App-Specific Password:

  1. Go to Apple ID Website:
Open your web browser and navigate to appleid.apple.com. We recommend using the Chrome browser, as Safari has been known to experience issues with generating app-specific passwords.

  2. Sign In and Verify:
Sign in with your Apple ID and password, then verify your identity using two-factor authentication.

  3. Select App-Specific Passwords:
After logging in, find and select the option for App-Specific Passwords.

  4. Generate the Password:
Click on Generate an app-specific password and enter a label to identify the password (e.g., "ARTERNAL").

  5. Copy the Password:
Screenshot or copy the password for later use.

How to Link Mac Mail in ARTERNAL:

    1. Open ARTERNAL Mail Settings:
In ARTERNAL, go to Smart Mail Settings and click Link Account to non-Google email providers.

    b. Select iCloud:
