In ARTERNAL, dimensions can be entered and converted using the Dimensions Caption fields and the Dimension Converter. Here’s how to work with dimensions for artworks:

Understanding the Fields:

  • The Dimensions Caption fields (highlighted in pink) show up in the artwork caption.

  • The Dimension Converter (highlighted in blue) is where you enter the dimensions and convert them to populate the Dimensions Caption fields.

Step 1: Enter Dimensions Using the Converter

  • In the Dimension Converter (blue), enter the height, width, and depth.

  • You can input the measurements in either inches or centimeters.

  • Click the Convert All button to populate the Dimensions Caption fields.

Step 2: Enter Dimensions Directly in the Caption Fields

  • Alternatively, you can enter the dimensions directly into the Dimensions Caption fields (pink).

  • Once entered, you can convert the dimensions to the required unit of measurement.
