ARTERNAL allows users to create custom fields in the Inventory section to better document and organize artwork information. Here's how to set up and manage custom fields for your inventory.
Step 1: Create a New Custom Field
Navigate to Settings > Organization > Custom Fields > Inventory.
Step 2: Add Field Details
Click + New Field and, in the prompt, enter the field name and an optional description.
Select a field type and field group, then choose whether other users can edit this field.
After filling out the prompt, click Create Field.
Step 3: View Your Custom Field
Refresh the page, go to any inventory, and scroll down to the Custom Fields section. Your newly created field will appear.
Step 4: Edit or Archive Custom Fields
To edit or archive existing fields, go to Settings > Custom Fields > Inventory. Click on any field to make changes.

To search using custom fields, go to Inventory > Filters, select the custom field, and search within the filter.
