In Inventory, users can create their own custom fields. This feature allows the inventory page to accommodate your way of documenting artwork information.

1. To create a new field, go to Settings > Organization > Custom Fields > Inventory.

2. Click on + New Field, and in the prompt, enter the field name and a description (optional). Then, select a field type and a field group.

You can choose if other users would have permission to edit this field. After filling out the prompt, click on Create Field.

3. After that, refresh your page and go to any inventory. Scroll down to the Custom Fields section, and the newly created field will appear.

4. You can also edit and archive existing custom fields. Go to Settings > Custom Fields > Inventory, and click on any field to edit.

5. In the prompt, you can change the field name, description, and group, then click Save Field. You can also archive the field.

6. If you'd like to recover previously archived fields, click on the Archived tab and recover them from there.

7. You can search inventory with custom fields. To do this, go to the inventory > click on Filters > choose the desired custom field > and search within the filter.

8. You can also include the custom fields in your artwork caption. Go to Settings > Inventory > Caption Formatter > View custom inventory fields, copy and paste any field into the text box, and then click on Save Changes.
