When creating a new inventory record, you can save time by using the Paste Captions feature to enter caption information all at once. Here’s how:

Step 1: Access the Paste Captions Feature

  • Click on Paste Captions when creating a new inventory record, and a text box will appear.

Step 2: Use the Caption Template

  • The template in the text box follows the same format as the caption template you set up in Settings > Inventory Settings > Inventory Caption Formatter.

Step 3: Paste and Align the Caption Information

  • Paste the artwork caption into the text box, ensuring that each piece of information aligns with the corresponding line (e.g., artist, title, year, medium, dimensions, and price).

Step 4: Save the Caption

After pasting and aligning the information, click Save. The caption information will automatically populate the relevant fields in your inventory record.
