How to Upload Images and Create Inventory Records

When creating a new inventory record in ARTERNAL, follow these steps to upload images and create your inventory:

Step 1: Add a New Work

  • Go to the Inventory tab and click on Add Works.

Step 2: Upload an Image

  • In the upload window, drag and drop your image file into the box or click Skip Image Step if you don’t have an image ready.

Step 3: Image Requirements

  • Please note that the image must:

    1. Be under 25MB.

    2. Have dimensions under 8000x8000px.
      Otherwise, the image may not display correctly in ARTERNAL.

Step 4: Check Image Size and Dimensions

  • To find out the file size and dimensions:

    • On Mac: Right-click the image file and select Get Info.

    • On Windows: Right-click the image file and select Properties.

Step 5: Resize Images if Necessary

  • If the image is too large in file size or dimensions, you can use an online tool by Googling “image resizer” to adjust the image accordingly.
