If you need to calculate the total inventory value at a specific location for insurance or logistical purposes, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Export Inventory

  • Navigate to the Import/Export page in ARTERNAL and select Export Inventory.

  • After downloading the spreadsheet, open it in Google Sheets or Excel.


Step 2: Create a Filter in Your Spreadsheet

  • In your spreadsheet (example uses Google Sheets)

Click on Data > Create a Filter.


Step 3: Filter by Location

  • Go to the Location column, uncheck the locations you don't want to include, and click OK to apply the filter.

  • Delete all the filtered rows (those not needed for the calculation).


Step 4: Select Remaining Location

  • Go back to the Location column and select the only remaining location.

  • Click OK to finalize the filter.


Step 5: Calculate the Total Inventory Value

  • Under the Price column, use the SUM formula to calculate the total inventory value for the selected location.
