In ARTERNAL, if you mark an artwork as sold, we can automatically add a contact association in the inventory. Here is how it works:

1. If you mark an inventory to SOLD,

2. You will be prompted to enter the contact that purchased it. Search and select the contact, and then click Confirm

3. Then the contact will appear in the "Association" section, labeled as the Owner of the work.

4. If the work later becomes available and sold again, repeat steps 1-3. Then, you will see the first buyer now labeled as the Previous Owner, and the second buyer is now the Owner.

If it is not working for your account, or you would like to disable it, please go to your settings > go to the Inventory tab under the Organization section, and switch on/off the highlighted toggle as needed.
