The Interests tab in ARTERNAL allows you to track and manage your client's specific interests. You can add new interests, customize fields, and even archive old interests as needed. Follow this guide to learn how to use the Interests tab effectively.

How to Add a New Interest:

  1. Open the Contact’s Profile:
    Navigate to the contact you want to update in ARTERNAL.

  2. Click on the Interests Tab:
    Inside the contact's profile, find and select the Interests tab.

  3. Create a New Interest:
    Click on + New Interest to add a new record for the client’s interest.


Adding Interest Details:

On the new interest page, you can fill out the following fields:

  • Add a Photo: Choose an image from your existing inventory or upload a new one.

  • Mark as Key Interest: Prioritize this interest by selecting the Key Interest checkbox.

  • Enter Additional Information: Fill in optional fields such as artist, price range, dimensions, and notes.

Important Tips:

  • Price Range: You can change the currency using the dropdown menu.

  • Dimensions: Switch between inches and centimeters based on your preference.

  • Optional Fields: All fields are optional, so you can fill in the information you have on hand.


Customizing Fields:

  1. Add a Custom Field:
    To create a custom field, go to Settings > Custom Fields > Interests.

  2. Create a New Field:
    Click + New Field to add a custom field. This field will appear on the interest page below the preset fields.


Editing and Archiving Interests:

  • To Edit:
    Click directly on the interest card to make any changes to the details.

  • To Archive:
    If a client is no longer interested, hover over the three dots icon on the interest card and select Archive. The interest will be moved to the Inactive tab.
