Social AutoPoster works on a free Art Helper account, with a limit on how many posts go out. Two numbers matter, and they are counted separately.
The two limits
Posts you send yourself — 3 a month on the free plan.
Posts an automation sends for you — 1 a week on the free plan.
On the Growth and Pro plans, neither is limited.
Sending counts. Writing never does.
This is the whole rule, and it is worth reading twice. You are only ever charged a post at the moment one is sent — when you press Post now, or when a scheduled post actually publishes.
None of this uses up your allowance:
Writing a draft, or a hundred drafts.
Editing a caption.
Moving a scheduled post to a different day or time.
Deleting a post before it goes out.
A post that failed to publish.
Posts your automations send — those come out of the weekly automation limit instead, not your monthly three.
So you can plan a whole month in Drafts at no cost, then choose which ones to send.
When the month resets
It is a calendar month — it resets on the 1st, not a month after you signed up. It runs on your time zone, the one in Settings.
A post counts against the month it goes out in, not the month you wrote it. A post written on 28 January and scheduled for 2 February comes out of February's allowance.
Check where you stand
Open Settings.
Your plan and what is left this month are both shown there.
Common questions
What happens when I have used my three?
You can keep writing and scheduling. You will be told you have reached the limit for this month when you try to send, and the post waits for you.
Does an automation post use up my three?
No. Automations have their own limit — one post a week on the free plan.
I sent a post and it failed. Have I lost one?
No. A failed post does not count. Send it again once the problem is fixed.
I rescheduled a post twice. Did that cost me three?
No — rescheduling is free, however many times you do it. Only the send counts.
Does a post to three sites at once count as one or three?
One. It is one post that happens to appear in several places.
How do I lift the limits?
Move to the Growth or Pro plan, which removes both. Settings shows what you are on now.
