# How to Post in the CommunityPosting in ArtHelper's community is a great way to share your work, ask questions, and connect with other artists.## Step One: Navigate to the Community1. Click on the **Town Square** icon in the main navigation menu. 2. Browse existing posts or click **New Post** to create your own.## Creating Your Post1. **Choose a channel** – Select the most relevant channel for your post (e.g., Feedback, Inspiration, Questions). 2. **Write your message** – Share your thoughts, questions, or updates. You can format text using bold, italics, and other markdown options. 3. **Attach media** – Add images or videos to your post by clicking the attachment icon or dragging files into the post editor. 4. **Add tags** (optional) – Help others discover your post by adding relevant tags. 5. **Click Post** – Your post will appear in the selected channel and on your profile's Activity page.## Where Your Posts AppearYour community posts will show up in two places:- **The channel you posted to** – Other community members can find and respond to your post here. - **Your profile's Activity page** – Your posts appear on your public profile, showing your community participation.**Note:** Your community posts now display attached images and videos correctly on your profile's Activity page. If you posted media before September 2026 and it's not showing, try editing and re-saving the post.## Interacting with Posts- **Like** posts by clicking the heart icon - **Reply** to join the conversation - **Share** posts you find helpful or inspiring - **Follow** members whose posts you enjoy## Reacting to Posts with EmojiEvery post in the community now has a row of emoji reactions underneath it, making it quick and easy to express your response.**How to react:**1. Find the row of emoji below any post or comment. 2. Tap the emoji that best expresses your reaction. 3. Your reaction is added instantly – no need to write a reply if a simple emoji says it all!**What you'll see:**- Each emoji shows a count of how many people reacted with it. - You can see exactly who reacted by tapping on the reaction count. - You can react to your own posts and comments, too.**What reactions mean in our community:**- **❤️ Heart** – Appreciation, love, or general support for the post - **👏 Clapping hands** – Celebrating an achievement or excellent work - **🙌 Raised hands** – Solidarity, agreement, or "me too!" - **🔥 Fire** – This is amazing, inspiring, or exceptionally good - **💯 Hundred points** – Perfect, exactly right, couldn't agree more - **🤔 Thinking face** – Interesting point, makes me think - **💪 Flexed bicep** – Encouragement, support, "you've got this!"**Remember:** Reactions are public. Other community members can see who reacted with each emoji, just like they can see who liked a post. This helps build connection and lets artists know their work resonates with the community.Reactions are a lightweight way to engage when you don't have time for a full comment, but still want to show support or acknowledgment.## Tips for Great Posts- **Be specific** – Clear questions get better answers. - **Show your work** – Visual posts tend to get more engagement. - **Be kind** – The community thrives on supportive, constructive interaction. - **Use relevant channels** – Posting in the right place helps the right people see your content. If you have questions about posting, reach out to our support team!
