Mockups shows a piece of your artwork hanging on the wall in hundreds of photographed real rooms — living rooms, galleries, offices — so a collector can picture it in a home. You can search the rooms, save the ones you like, and download them to use anywhere.
It is its own app, at mockups.arthelper.com. Sign in with the same email and password you use for ArtHelper — you will also find Mockups in the Apps menu at the top of ArtHelper.
See a piece in rooms
Open mockups.arthelper.com and sign in.
Press Choose art and pick one of your pieces. (Upload art adds a new one without leaving the page.)
Type the piece's real width and height (anything from half an inch to 400 inches) and press Save size. This is the step that makes everything else work — see below.
The rooms appear underneath. Press View on any room to see it full size.
Type the real size — it matters more than it looks
Once we know how big the piece actually is, every room hangs it to scale, and rooms that are too small to hang it step aside. You will see a line like "18 of 42 rooms fit a piece this size", and how many were hidden and why.
⚠️ Important: If a room shows a bare wall with no artwork, the size on the piece is too large for that room to stage. Open the piece, put in a sensible width and height, and press Save size again. The size you save here is saved onto the piece in ArtHelper too.
Find the right rooms
Type into the room search — try living room, gallery, or warm.
Narrow further with the Room tags, Room colours and Room collections chips. They stack, so picking two narrows rather than widens.
Suggested rooms is a short list picked for that particular piece.
All rooms opens the whole catalogue in one long scroll.
The grid shows 24 at a time; press Show more for the next batch.
Save and download
Every room has three buttons: View, a heart to save it, and a download arrow.
The heart keeps a room on your Saved page, grouped by artwork. Saved mockups are stored on your ArtHelper account, so they show up in ArtHelper too.
The download arrow saves that one room as a picture file.
Download all rooms packages every fitting room for that piece into a single ZIP file.
On Saved, Download all as ZIP does the same for one saved group.
Share a wall
On Saved, press Share your wall and then Copy link. That link opens a public page showing the mockups you chose to share, and anyone can view it without an account.
Sharing is a setting on your ArtHelper profile, not here. If you turn it off, the page goes quiet — nothing is deleted, and turning it back on brings it back.
Common questions
How many rooms are there?
Around 256 photographed interiors, and the set grows as rooms are added.
I picked a piece and no rooms appeared.
If you uploaded it in the last few minutes, give it a little longer — a new piece takes a few minutes before it can be placed in rooms. If it has been there a while, try again in a minute; the room catalogue can be briefly unavailable.
The ZIP download sat at 75% for a long time.
That is expected and it is still working. We can measure the rooms being made, which is the first three-quarters; the last part is packaging the file, which we cannot measure, so the bar waits there. A large piece can take a minute or two.
Do I have to save a size for every piece?
Only if you want the rooms to be accurate. Without a size we show you every room, unscaled — useful for a quick look, but not a true picture of how big the work is on that wall.
Where do I put the size — here or in ArtHelper?
Either. It is the same piece of information, and saving it here saves it on the artwork in ArtHelper.
What picture files can I upload?
JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP and AVIF, between 10 KB and 100 MB. TIFF files are not accepted here.
Does my shared wall show my name?
No. The page shows the work, not your name — the link itself is the introduction.
Someone opened my wall and it was empty.
Either sharing is switched off on your ArtHelper profile, or nothing has been saved and shared yet. The page stays calm and says nothing is shared, rather than showing an error.
Can I put my art on mugs, shirts or phone cases here?
Not yet — this app is rooms and walls. Multiple-panel pieces and decorative frame styles are not available yet either.
