Creative Sparks: the standalone app

Start from the spark instead of the artwork, refine the result, and where your saved runs go.

Written by Shelby

Creative Sparks is a separate app for running ArtHelper's Sparks — the AI writing tools that describe, price and promote your work. Art Review, Price My Art, Artist Statement, Product Description, Social Post and many more.

It is at sparks.arthelper.com, and you sign in with the same email and password you use for ArtHelper. You will also find Creative Sparks in the Apps menu at the top of ArtHelper.

What it adds

You can already run Sparks inside ArtHelper — but only by opening a piece of artwork first and finding the Sparks there. This app lets you work the other way round: start with the spark, then choose which piece to run it on. If you know you want an artist statement but do not want to hunt for the right artwork first, this is the quicker way in.

It is the same Sparks, the same artwork and the same results as ArtHelper — not a separate library. A spark you run here shows up in that artwork's history in ArtHelper, and anything you save appears in both places.

Run a spark

  1. Open sparks.arthelper.com and sign in. The page shows a grid of sparks.

  2. Tap the spark you want.

  3. A window opens headed Choose what it runs on. Pick one of your artworks — or switch to the Collections or Series tab to run it across a group.

  4. It starts writing straight away. There is no button to press. Most sparks take between ten seconds and a minute.

  5. When it finishes, press Copy to put the text on your clipboard, or the save button to keep it.

💡 Tip: You can leave the page while it is writing. The result is saved on our side, so it will be waiting in that artwork's history when you come back.

Ask for changes

  1. Under the result, find the box headed Refine.

  2. Type what you want different — "shorter", "warmer", "do not mention the frame".

  3. Press Generate again.

A refinement never replaces what you already have. The new version appears as a separate run, with your request shown above it, so you can compare and keep whichever you prefer.

Make everything sound like you

Open My Voice to set the tone every spark writes in. It is the same setting as Settings → Assistant in ArtHelper, so changing it in one place changes it in both.

  • Pick your tones — up to four — and how formal you want to sound.

  • Add a rule for a particular spark if it keeps getting something wrong.

Where your results go

  • Saved holds the runs you kept. It is the same library as the Sparks tab of Saved Content in ArtHelper — save in one, it is there in the other.

  • My Art lets you start from a piece instead, the way ArtHelper does.

  • Tutorials has seven short walkthrough videos.

Common questions

Can I edit the result here?

No — here you can copy it, save it, or ask for changes with Refine. If you want to type directly into the text, open that artwork in ArtHelper and edit it there.

Is this the same as the Sparks inside ArtHelper?

Yes — same sparks, same artwork, same saved results, same monthly allowance. The only difference is that you can start from the spark here instead of from a piece of art.

Do I need artwork uploaded before I can use it?

Yes, every spark runs on something of yours. If you have not uploaded anything, press + Add artwork when the picker opens and upload right there.

A spark has a padlock on it.

That spark is included with a larger plan. Pressing it opens your billing page in ArtHelper — nothing is ever charged in this app.

It says I have used this month's sparks.

Your plan's monthly allowance is used up. It resets next month, or you can move to a larger plan from ArtHelper.

How many sparks are left this month?

That count is shown in ArtHelper, in the sidebar — it is not displayed in this app yet.

I removed a run by mistake.

Press Undo straight away. If you have already left the page, the run is still in that artwork's history in ArtHelper — removing it here only hides it here.

Can I share a result with someone?

Not as a link. Press Copy and paste it wherever you need it. Nothing you make here is public.

It said it could not reach ArtHelper.

Check your connection and press Retry. Nothing was used from your allowance.
