For years, Construction pros have relied on Hover for exteriors, and now we're bringing that same accuracy, efficiency, and ease of use to interiors. With proper imagery of an interior space, Hover can generate 3D measurements, a virtual walkthrough, and so much more for almost any project.
If we aren't able to process one of your interior scan projects, or could only generate some of the spaces rather than the full floor plan, we will notify you by email and you'll see a prompt from the project details page.
How to resolve an unsuccessful interior scan
Scan Unsuccessful
If you see a notification that the scan was unsuccessful, it means that virtual reconstruction of the rooms was not possible from the initial scan you or a homeowner did. The photos from that initial scan will still be accessible from the project details page, but to get the measurements, virtual walkthrough, etc. the interior will need to be rescanned.
We don't currently support rescanning directly from an unsuccessful scan. To rescan the space, create a new project.
Note: You will not be billed for unsuccessful scans.
Incomplete Rooms
If you see an "Incomplete Rooms" notification from the Projects list, it indicates that Hover was able to reconstruct some, but not all project rooms. The property images, measurements, virtual walkthrough, etc. for the successfully reconstructed rooms will still be accessible from the project details page, as normal.
To see which scanned room(s) could not be reconstructed, along with brief explanations as to why, visit the first full page of the measurements PDF.
From the project details page, select PDF from the Measure card
After the cover page, you will see a table that details each room, whether or not it was completed, and an explanation for why it may not have been completed.
If you still need measurements for non-reconstructed rooms:
Start a new interior project
Scan just the previously non-reconstructed rooms
